  1. I have 18" wheels on my 09 Cayenne S, and thinking of going to 20"s When I look at the TPMS settings on the dashboard, I see option to set it for 18" and 19" only. What happens if I put 20" or 21" wheels? Do I need to change to different sensors? Do I need to have the dealer re-program the on board computer? Or do I have to forget TPMS?
  2. I purchased a CPO Cayenne a few weeks ago and I was told it didn't have BT module. I was looking into aftermarket NAV-TV, when suddenly the BT function appeared. I was able to pair mi iPhone with difficulty: after successfully registering the device, which correctly appears on the device list, the details show Handsfree Service v.1.5 but no connection. I am intermittently able to make the connection between phone and PCM (tried to initiate the link both from the phone or the PCM) but not able to make calls. The main problem is that the phone function is not always there, most of the times when I press the Phone button it says "Phone function not available". Sometimes I turn off the car and then back on and the phone function works, although it so sporadic that I haven't been able to go past the full connection, no calls. Could it be a loose connector? Is there anything I can try before I take it to the dealer? Since they had no idea the BT module was there, I am skeptical on their ability to resolve the issue...
  3. Nobody? My understanding is that SW 1.xx is for 2005/2010 Cayenne models, while SW 2.xx is for 2011 and up. Wrong?
  4. I am the new owner of a CPO 2009 Cayenne S. When I purchased the vehicle I looked at the PCM software version to make sure I had the latest software and maps. It read 1.40 I remembered reading there had been recently an update for PCM3 to 1.44 so I asked the dealer to update the software, which they did at no cost. After a couple of visits, as they had to order the update for my specific MY, the update is installed. It now reads version 2.21 Is this the current one? Have they uploaded the wrong vehicle software? The new update erased all previous and stored destinations, all radio and sat presets, and also defaulted to UK units and language. I am not sure this was supposed to happen. Any thoughts?
  5. I have the same problem on a 2006 C2S. Whit the sunroof tilted open, I could see the loose rubber buffer which obviously came off. Tried to fit my hand to grab it, but it just went down between the roof and the lining. I'm not sure if I can get it out somehow without going to the dealer. Also it seems like my sunroof doesn't fully open, it stops about an inch short. I'm assuming is the piece of rubber getting in the way. Any suggestions?
  6. I have a similar issue, whining noise between 4000 and 4200 rpm. After checking different issues (belts, fans) the dealer says it's the left muffler. I would have liked it better if it was only a bracket... I have not replaced it yet. I am waiting to see if it gets worse.
  7. I have been haring a very distinct buzzing/ringing noise on my 06 C2S when on deceleration between 4300 and 4000 rpm, possibly coming from the engine. To be more specific, if I accelerate and take the engine to let's say 5000 rpm, then release the pedal, when it hits 4300 rpm the buzzing starts and stops exactly after going below 4000 rpm. I took it to the dealer for a test drive and we ruled out a few things (belts, AC parts, etc.) but didn't find the source. I haven't had the time to drop it off for an in-depth check yet. Anyone ever experienced anything similar?
