  1. saw an "i love leesburg" t shirt at walgreens. awesome.

  2. Awesome, thanks! I took my OEM Porsche MAF and cleaned it with maf cleaner, and also with a cotton swab (I know it's not recommended) and a lot of dirt came off and it solved my problem!
  3. Sim simma! who got the keys to my bimma?

  4. I have a 2000 996 c2 and I suspect the MAF has gone bad. On cold start the car struggles to pass 1500 rpm, sometimes 3k rpm. After it warms up it seems to run fine, but i notice a SLIGHT power loss from normal performance above 4000 rpm. I have checked the secondary air injection system and everything checks out. I bought one of those MAF's from ebay a while ago after i got a CEL from my original and it worked fine for a while. Now I'm wondering if that was a mistake. Before I go off and spend $300 on a new MAF from Porsche, is there a way to test it to be certain that it is the problem? I have the durametric cable, I just don't know what to do with the readings. When I remove the MAF plug on cold start, there is absolutely no problem revving or accelerating, but only staying running after dropping from a rev.
  5. looks nice! mine had cracked a lot more so i removed the panels and twisted the c/f till all the shiny layer broke off. IMO it looks nice without the coating since it looks matte. the only thing is the "carrera" script comes off with it. but i can cut new ones with the vinyl plotter.
