  1. Again, many thanks!! I'll give Mike Focke's site a read tonight. All the best.
  2. Many thanks JFP!!! Could I achieve the same results by hooking up a "spare" battery via the fuse box post while I am swapping out the batteries? (I don't have a battery maintainer, but do have another 12V car battery (not for the Boxster) that I could connect in that fashion.) Any recommendations on replacement battery Brand/Model? The OEM battery seems to have really low CCA at 380? I do know I need to either get a replacement that vents left end of battery or an adapter kit. Thanks again for your help, very much appreciated.
  3. 2006 Boxster S 5 Speed Manual US The battery is totally dead and I am going to replace it. I am worried about losing engine/security/radio codes during this process (or perhaps I already have with the dead battery??). Have read elsewhere that losing a Cam timing code in the engine would be a really bad thing. Do I need to be concerned or can I just go ahead and swap out the battery? Thanks, sorry if this is a silly question but I don't want to create problems for myself.
