  1. Just replaced the battery in my wife's '04 Cayenne S. A couple of notes: 1. I bought the 10mm triple square bit (1/2" drive) at NAPA for $10. Well worth it, rather than trying to make something else work. 2. Before tilting the seat back, you should remove the 2 plastic trim pieces at the aft ends of the seat tracks (i.e. in front of the rear seat foot well). Otherwise, these prevent you from tilting very far, or you may crack them. The manual didn't show this, but the pieces pull off straight backwards pretty easily. 3. The interior/carpet panel that you remove from the front of the seat is a pain to get off and difficult to get back on without leaving a gap. There are 2 clips on the lower front side that you can pop off, then you need to get the corners up and over the seat track forward trim pieces, and then you push it rearward to disengage the 3 clips under the seat. Wish I had good advice for getting it back on nicely. Mine still has a gap. Good luck. Pretty easy once you have the tool and figure out the interior. The rest is very straightforward. Could do it again in under 30 minutes. Well worth the DYI effort!
