  1. Hi, I am new here and couldn't find anything on my specific problem yet - i don't want to litter up the forum so in case someone knows about an existing discussion please advice and will add to the existing thread. thanks. So here a short description of the issue: I moved from the US back to germany 2 month go and shipped my car (2008 997.1 4S Coupe) over as well, upon arrival i took it for a ride and noticed that the a/c controls and seat heaters were not working (no feedback led's and no function). I checked the fuses and the 25A fuse for the climate control unit was blown. i replaced the fuse and all was fine until i took it out again last weekend... when shortly after starting it up (outside temperature 25F) i turned on both seat heaters and hit the button for the windshield defrost. It went dead again and guess what - yes the fuse was blown again. Before i shipped the car i had a aux in adapter added to my pcm 2.1 that lets you keep the cdc. it is hooked up to the fiber optic cable of the pcm and can be activated/deactivated with a button. it also has a charging device built in to charges the ipod while connected. the aux in however works fine even with the fuse for A/C blown. Well, it shouldnt have any interference with the A/C in the first place since its hooked up to the PCM i think but just trying to provide any info that might be relevant. could this have anything to do with the batterie being connected/disconnected or maybe jump starting during the shipping/transport process? is there any risk of a malfunction/cable fire..? what can i do to diagnose/fix the problem? Has anyone encountered the same/similar problems? Other than that problem the car and all functions/features work to spec as far as i can tell. Thanks in advance for the support! nat
