I talked to the shop that recently did a compelte vehicle inspection and poverhaul. They think it is where one of their tech's overfilled and suggested to clean and observe as noted above. Sounds like this is minor, but I'm proceeding cautiously none the less. Appreciate everyone's feedback! :-)

Hi Folks, New to this forum and looking to buy a 993. I had the owner of a car I'm looking at tell me he is not sure if this is an oil leak or something that happened when the oil was recently changed. Any ideas? I can tell you most anythign about a 914, but no idea on a 993. Appreciate any help or ideas... I'm tryign to get enough confidence in the car to shell out for a proper PPI at a dealership. Apprecaite your feedback if this looks liek somethign I shoudl be worried about. Thanks, Jason
