  1. Do all the cayennes sound kinda loud when driving on the highway. When i am coasting about 65 - 70 I can hear this slight humming sound and the sound changes pitch when i accelerate or decelerate, mind you this sound is very bleak. Also when I let go of the gas going 65ish the car doesnt just coast as if i were in neutral, I can feel the slight vibration in the steering wheel. I had the dealership drive it and they said its just because its an AWD with two drive shafts. Any input would be nice thanks

  2. I recently purchased a Porsche Cayenne S with 58k. Drove it back 600 miles to my house. The left side headlight went out, I figured out it was the faulty connection, so I removed the Headlight tightened the mounting bracket screws and tried putting the headlight back in..but I the mounting bracket cracked so I ordered the new bracket. Went to pick it up from the dealership and on the way back Coolant Pipes exploded lol... So as you can tell not having the best of luck with the cayenne but hopefully its just these things and the rest of the journey will be pleasant.

    So now the questions.

    I know a reputable shop that quoted me $350 for labor on the coolant pipes.

    Is there a place I can find the plastic coolant pipes? All I have been able to locate is the 600 dollar upgraded aluminum coolant pipe kit and I am kind of on a budget.

    Also I am now due for the 60k maintenance so I was wondering what all is absolutely necessary.

    Oil change

    Cabin Filter

    Spark plugs

    Air filter

    Drive Belt

    am i missing anything else?

    How important is it to change the drive belt and spark plugs.. could I maybe go another 10k without changing them?

    Also Is it reccomended to change the torque converter seal with the coolant pipes?

    All your help is greatly appreciated. I did use the search feature on the forum but I couldnt find all the exact information so I decided to make this thread.
