Do all the cayennes sound kinda loud when driving on the highway. When i am coasting about 65 - 70 I can hear this slight humming sound and the sound changes pitch when i accelerate or decelerate, mind you this sound is very bleak. Also when I let go of the gas going 65ish the car doesnt just coast as if i were in neutral, I can feel the slight vibration in the steering wheel. I had the dealership drive it and they said its just because its an AWD with two drive shafts. Any input would be nice thanks

Does anybody know the part number on the tools? It is the insert tool, the centering pin and the fixing pin. If anyone does know that would be sooo amazing. I still can not find the tools so my car is stuck in the shop

Does anyone know where to purchase the specialty tool required to perform the torque converter seal replacement. My car is in the shop and mechanic cant seem to locate the tool. Your help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED

Hey man I saw you had your seal replaced.. Mine just went out after the coolant pipes did. My question is did you take it to the dealer or individual mechanic? is there a special tool they need? my mechanic said he can do it but he doent think he needs any special tools

So my key fob stopped working... it won't unlock the doors. I changed the battery and still won't work. Can I open the car with the key manually? will the alarm go off if I open the door? any other ideas? My wallet is locked inside the car and I cant get to it.

There is a clicking noise coming from under the glove compartment. Almost like a pump pumping something or a sensor or something. Anyone know what this might be? starts clicking once the the key is turned to accessory mode and continues to click when the car is turned on. Any help is appreciated. Could this be the aircon fan or something?

I saw these coolant hoses at pelican. Would this just replace the oem ones or no? Porsche Dealership here is filled with major *****!!! no way they would give me a discount. Also it is not under warranty :( .. Is the drive belt and timing belt the same thing on the cayennes?

I recently purchased a Porsche Cayenne S with 58k. Drove it back 600 miles to my house. The left side headlight went out, I figured out it was the faulty connection, so I removed the Headlight tightened the mounting bracket screws and tried putting the headlight back in..but I the mounting bracket cracked so I ordered the new bracket. Went to pick it up from the dealership and on the way back Coolant Pipes exploded lol... So as you can tell not having the best of luck with the cayenne but hopefully its just these things and the rest of the journey will be pleasant. So now the questions. I know a reputable shop that quoted me $350 for labor on the coolant pipes. Is there a place I can find the plastic coolant pipes? All I have been able to locate is the 600 dollar upgraded aluminum coolant pipe kit and I am kind of on a budget. Also I am now due for the 60k maintenance so I was wondering what all is absolutely necessary. Oil change Cabin Filter Spark plugs Air filter Drive Belt am i missing anything else? How important is it to change the drive belt and spark plugs.. could I maybe go another 10k without changing them? Also Is it reccomended to change the torque converter seal with the coolant pipes? All your help is greatly appreciated. I did use the search feature on the forum but I couldnt find all the exact information so I decided to make this thread. Thanks again
