  1. It is the Drivers Side lower wheel well in the front of the tire for US cars and I assume all left-hand drive cars
  2. No problem Hilux, I thought I was crazy cause I couldn't find them after a few forum searches it was clear Porsche was try to make the job harder for me :-) you are right on the front release, easy even with the tire on. Thanks again
  3. Thanks for the help, ended up getting the rear open easily with the instructions, but found out that for the 997, Porsche took away the jump points in the engine bay. So I took out the front wheel well which was pretty easy with the tire still on, so I moved the liner down after unscrewing it and was able to Pop the trunk easily. Hooked up my charger and all came back to life. So if you have a 997 then remove the front drivers wheel well lower front and you can access the cable release for the trunk. Thanks all for your help, I'm back in business
  4. I thought with my heated garage I wouldn't need to trickle charge it with what o was told a new battery, oh well!!
  5. Thanks all, My Cayman S never had the battery go completely dead so the car always unlocked. Just ordered another CTek since it went with my Cayman... I'm gonna try the rear deck lid cable first, then the front if I can get to it. Should the key unlock the fire with no power?
  6. That makes sense, my wheel lug tool is in the glove box, locked in the car. Can you get the inner wheel well out with the tire on?
  7. Thanks but I have done that before with my last Porsche, this time though the door will not unlock to get to the fuse block. When I use the key in the lock it will not unlock the door... So I can't get in to jump from the fuse block, does that make sense?
  8. My battery went completely dead and now the key won't even open the door manually, is there another way to get the door open so I can pop the hood???
