Unless it is a GT3 RS the air cleaners are the same as earlier 997 GT3 and the 996 GT3.
do you think its worth trying the whole air intake system by K&N?
Thanks
IMHO - no.
It would make some difference on a turbo not much (if any) on a normally aspirated car.
Lauren,
Really not much of a difference on my GT3 RS, because the engine is normally aspirated.
Thanks for the clarification, because I was going to buy an air intake system, but obviously not anymore after learning this.

Dane

Hello Everyone. A new member here.
This is a great forum from what I have seen, and I look forward to learning much and enjoying myself generally. I am getting ready to become a GT3 owner very soon and thought I'd get some behind the scenes experiences from this forum while I wait for my car to arrive.
Cheers everyone.
Professor,
Welcome to the club.

Hi everyone,
Have any of you upgraded the OEM audio system to something with some more bass?
Where have you positioned the sub-woofer without taking up all the space in the back?
Thank you,
Dane

Hey Guys,
From Toronto Canada
Just took delivery of a 2007 Porsche GT3 RS!! Bought it with 20,000 kilometers. Major options were the PCCB brakes. I think I'm gonna opt for upgrading the stereo to play MP3s or MP3 plugin, an exaust and the mesh grill to keep the leaves out of the radiator grill area.
I originally wanted a Porsche Turbo, but I think the GT3 RS is a better look, and would be a more fulfilling driving experience. I think the GT3 get's more respect, but I'd love to know what you guys think.
I want to start getting involved with the track
so I can take advantage of the car. Do I need to join a car club to do this?
I'm gonna update my VIN with the GT3 Registery web site.
I'm so happy, it's such an accomplishment for me!
That's right, I drive a Porsche. a GT3 RS!! :jump:
