  3. Blue Monster thanks for the post...I have been searching around for bright LEDs for the taillights and turn signals...the ones they sell at PepBoys are junk. Do you have any recommendations?
  4. I'm looking to potentially purchase an 03 or 04 boxster. Looked at various forums about retrofitting PCM2 navigation but it seems very expensive. Has anyone been successful to replace the stock head unit in their 03/04 boxster with an aftermarket DVD navi unit? Does it involve a lot of custom wiring and cutting of trim pieces? Please let me know what brand navi unit you have installed if so. The newer models have MOST fiber optic is that going to be problematic?
  5. Can anyone advise on the following aftermarket in-dash navigation units for a 2002 911 Carrera convertible? I would like to purchase at BestBuy, Circuit City, Costco, or Crutchfield and have it installed in my car. Will these fit? Eclipse AVN6610 Eclipse AVN7000 JVC KDNX5000 Pioneer AVIC-D3 Valor NAV650D-I Thanks!
  6. I took my 05 Cayenne V6 (12K miles currently) to the dealer recently and reported that when braking from highway speeds the steering wheel vibrates. Dealer identified the cause as brake rotors are glazed from heat. Is the repair/replacement of the brake rotors covered under warranty?
  7. Are you sure this is correct? I just received a postcard in the mail with the following part #955 044 900 08 http://www.porsche.com/usa/accessoriesands...vigationupdate/

  9. Is there a part number for the 955 Cayenne? This looks like the part # for 997 series. Thanks
  10. Anyone know how to properly aim the headlights? I have read through the owner's manual but cannot seem to figure out which area of the headlight is for vertical aim and horizontal aim. Attached is a driver's side headlight assembly pic of the 3 areas for screwdriver adjustment, which one is which? Your help is much appreciated, thanks!

  12. The HIDs were aftermarket...and what a great purchase WOW !!! B) AWSOME i got them on ebay new great deal the best thing is the HID ballast fits on the inside of the cayennes headlight MARCO Marco, Would you mind PM me the link to the HID lights, how much were they? Is it easy to install, plug-n-play, no wiring necessary? Hope you have instructions too! Thanks, Edwin
  13. Does your 2005 Cayenne V6 come with HID headlights from the factory or aftermarket? I'm looking to get HID headlights aftermarket. Thanks!
  14. I have the same issue with my 05 Cayenne, Loren do you have any ideas? I currently have to press the numbers on the keypad to change radio presets. Thanks!
  15. Yeah, Alpha and Xetronic got some pretty good HID bi-xenon kits. You have to build a bracket to hang the ballast. You are looking at $1000.00+ with installation. However, you may also try to look for the genuine bi-xenon headlights. Like new ready-to-install parts are of the similar cost as the HID kits, but you may save a little bit on installation. Check eBay out. AlienGG are you familiar with anyone in the SF Bay Area who is a reputable installer of these Alpha/Xetronic kits?
  16. Does anyone know if it's possible to retrofit Bi-Xenon kit on a halogen-headlamp based Cayenne? Or can you recommend an aftermarket HID/xenon kit for Cayenne which I can have installed professionally by a local dealer in California? Thanks!
