  1. Hi All, I know this might have been discussed somewhere before but i cannot seem to find much stuff or discussion on this. I am thinking of getting a Turbo Spoiler to fit on my 2007 997.1 C2S Cabriolet. I have read on several other forums that this will fit but there is a need to either:- 1. Modify stock Airbox 2. Change stock Airbox to EVOMS open-pod air intake. I would like to know if there is anyone here who have pictures of option #1. I am not inclined to change to EVOMS. I believe you might have to cut a bit of the original Airbox and then rebond it. However, i have no idea how to do that or what rebonding means. Hence if there is picture, it would help a lot. Or alternatively would the X51 Carbon Fiber airbox be a substitue? I know it is much easier to do this modification on a 997.2 since their airbox is different our 997.1 as the airbox in 997.1 sits on the far right side. Any comments or help would be most helpful. Cheers, Peter
  2. Today was driving to dinner and making a corner and downshifting from 3rd to 2nd. When i was coming out of the corner, there was jerkiness as if my gear was in too high. For a while i thought i had went accidently into 4th gear but that was not the case. After dinner about 2 hrs later, i again had this problem when coming out of a corner....i am wondering what is wrong. I just changed my headers, x-pipe and cats but have not done any ECU reflash. My car has only 18K miles on it. Anyone have any idea what is the problem here? Cheers, Peter
  3. I have been driving my car and of late found that at 60m/h (100km/h) on 6th gear, my rpm seems to be pretty high at 2,700-3,000. I somewhat recall it was lower around 2,000 below thereabouts. Is there any problem or am i being paranoid? I am driving a 2007 997.1 C2S manual. Only mods to the car is X51 headers, x-pipe w 200cel cats, muffler and RSS plenum. Cheers, Peter
  4. Guys, while going through the PSE installation guide from the TSB, it would appear there is a diode for PSE chamber 17. I don't have the diode for this and wonder if anyone knows what is the voltage for this so i can go source for it?
  5. The black/white check-valve looks to be from a older model. Does anyone have a PSE installed in their 2007 997 cabriolet and can take a picture so i can try to figure it out. Or does anyone else know how else to resolve this problem. Everything is working but in reverse order.
  6. Thanks for the reply. When you say "check-value", i am assuming you mean the "switch-over valve"? Perhaps, you can clarify what is installing "backwards"?
  7. Hi All, Trying to retrofit the PSE onto my 2007 997.1 C2S car. However, after wiring everything, the "exhaust" button on dash is reading opposite. i.e. when i press to turn it on, it is actually off and vice versa. In addition, the valve turns off whenever i hit 3,000 rpm and above. Does anyone have an installation guide for the 2007 model? I have the 2006 installation guide and this is not working correct. I am trying to see where did i go wrong in the wiring process or if someone here can give me their 2 cents. Cheers.
