  1. Thanks Loren, but it is just the remote that won't open the trunk. The button by the driver's seat opens it fine.
  2. I just had my mechanic program a new key for the Targa. Now, when you hit the trunk release, it will unlock the doors but not the rear trunk. I have listened closely but hear no noise indicating attempted release of the mechanism. I'm not sure if it is just a coincidence and might be an actuator. Also, you can release the trunk with the button by the driver's seat. If anyone has an idea of what is wrong, I would greatly appreciate the information. Thanks, Porschemike
