Hi there, my door speakers (non - Bose) are shot. Does anyone know of a direct bolt in replacement? Or at least the size I will need - diameter and maximum depth? Thank you

Did you look under the passenger side carpet to see if there are mounting holes like the GT3 has for a bracket? On a GT3 they are under there are two plastic caps that get removed and the bracket attached next to the console on the passenger side.

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone has installed the Jehnert audio speakers in their 996? The install and specs look good, but would like to know how they sound. They can make them in the color specific for around $1400. With my DSP package not sure if I will need to add a new amp - any input would be great! Thank you.

Looks like most people like the MB Quart. My stock unit has the DSP equalizer and I think I will stay with this, so I just plan to change out the speakers front and back.

Can someone list the MB Quart's models that will "bolt" right in?

Also if there is another brand that works good I would be open to these...

996 351 949 12 & 996 352 949 02, is there an upgrade from stock other than the ceramic's? Thank you!

I guess I am a bit slow... :( but I am still unsure if I can mount a cup holder in the lower part of my dash. If I don't care about what it blocks (controls, etc.) can I still fit it in without serious modifications? I have the DSP unit on the bottom of the dash stack and would like to put the cup holder right above it or move the radio head unit down to this spot and put the Cup Holder below the heater controls that are at the top..... has anyone done this? can it be done easily (just install it??) Thank you

I appears from the link that the pieces are no longer useable after removed (broken?) - I was planning to get them repainted. Do you or anyone else know if these could be removed in a manner so that they could be re-used (without removing the whole dash...) ? Thanks

Looking forward to how to remove the rear wiper! Does anyone (Loren?) know how to remove the Dash Trim Pieces (3 strips in middle) to have them replaced? They do not pry out like the Horseshoe???
