  1. Problem solved. After reprogramming the alarm module at Porsche Service Center, the alarm and central locking is working OK :D
  2. Did they change the door microswitches too? No, but they seems to be working. The windows goes down half an inch when I open the door with the door handle. Have they checked for rodent damage to wiring harness? No, but I will have a look. Did they try re-programming the alarm module? No, but I will tell them next time to do it. Thanks Loren for your quick respons and answer.
  3. Hi all, I have not solve the problem yet. Porsche 996 Carrera 2WD Convertible US model year 2000 with alarm 535. When I lock the doors with the remote, none of the doors locks and I hear a dubble beep. If I lock the car with the metalkey in the drivers door, I hear a single beep and only the drivers door locks. You can hear that the doorlock tries to look the door and unlock it straight after. The red light on the doorlockbutton inside the car is illuminated all the time. The alarmlight on the dashboard is blinking twice after the door is locked. I have changed BOTH door lock assemblies. I have been to my Porsche dealer and I still have: 1 Door(s) secured and terminal 15 on 13 Left door secured, but not locked 14 Right door secured, but not locked 43 Passenger-side release stuck 44 Driver-side release stuck My Porsche dealer tried to clear the faults, but they comes right back. The alarm module (M535 US car) under the drivers seat looks OK and dry and have no corrosion inside. The small fuse is OK, but I had a previous problem with wet floor mats behind the drivers seat. Both windows comes down half an inch when I open the door handle. The interior lights works normal. And I think all other switches works OK, front hood, motor hood, radio and stowage box between the seats. Any suggestions are highly appreciated
  4. I have already changed both door lock mechanism (assembly) and I still have the same fault codes.
  5. Hi all, I have a 996 Carrera Cabrio from year 2000 with code 535 (Alarm). When I lock the car with the remote key I hear 2 beeps and none of the doors locks. When I lock the door with the key in the drivers door lock and hear 1 beep and only the drivers door locks. I have checked the fault memory at Porsche Center and they found the following: Alarm system Fault memory: 1 Door(s) secured and terminal 15 on 13 Left door secured, but not locked 14 Right door secured, but not locked 43 Passenger-side release stuck 44 Driver-side release stuck 60 Central locking limit position Lock not reached 61 Central locking limit position Unlock not reached I have since then checked all the circutbreakers and also changed BOTH door lock assemblies (not cheap) according to my Porsche center it is the most likely fault. I have also checked the alarmbox under the drivers seat and it looks OK to me. But the problems remains. Any suggestions are welcome. Best regards, 320air
