  2. The one I was looking at (GENK40) was around $285. I spoke to Mito Corp...they cautioned me of the possibility of cracking the windshield when removing the glued on OEM mirror clip. They recommended having a universal Homelink transmitter installed in my sunvisor rather than trying to remove & glue a new mirror bracket on the glass. For some reason I think the sunvisors on pcars are too small to have a Homelink transmitter installed.
  3. Greetings all. Has anyone had any luck installing a Gentex/Mito Corp aftermarket mirror in their pcar? I'm looking to take care of installing an auto-dimming mirror with Homelink controls and it appears Mito has a good solution. http://www.mitocorp.com/homelink_mirrors.htm It appears they make a foreign car adapter...which I imagine is for cars with twist on/off mirrors. However, it appears Porsche is not one of the manufacturers supported with this adapter. I'm trying to avoid a rocker switch/dash hack for my garage doors, while addressing the lack of auto-dimming mirrors in my Carrera. My undersatnding is that Gentex is the OEM for Porsche mirrors. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with these products in their pcar? Thanks in advance.
