  2. I was looking at the specs for the Regular Sport Vs. The Sport A/S Vs. the Sport PS2 and it seems that the A/S is the better overall tire for combined dry/wet driving. My Boxster S is a "daily driver" for me. Here are the stats on the tire according to the company.

    Pilot® Sport A/S

    Tread life 8

    Wet traction 10

    Quiet ride 7

    Handling 9

    Winter traction 9

    Mud Traction N/A

    Pilot® Sport PS2

    Tread life 6

    Wet traction 10

    Quiet ride 10

    Handling 10

    Winter traction N/A

    Mud Traction N/A

    Pilot® Sport

    Tread life 6

    Wet traction 9

    Quiet ride 7

    Handling 9

    Winter traction N/A

    Mud Traction N/A

Anyone have any preferences? or advice?

  3. Is there some way I can reduce the heat transfer from the engine to the rear trunk? I am a semi-pro musician in my spare time and it gets too warm back there to keep a stringed instrument. Would installing some heat shielding inside the trunk help or would that be a detriment to the motor? Actually, I'd love to be able to run some kind of conduit from the A/C to the trunk to keep it cool.

    Regards,

    Mike
