If it works after it warms ,I personally wouldn't change the cluster. I was purchasing my boxter and had the dealer pay for the cluster. Dealer was Ford and they had the local porsche indie do the work. The cluster they installed didn't have as much info on the display. It was a used cluster with 20k less miles on it. I never actually let the engine warm up to see if the fault.cleared on the original. I kept original cluster and after reading your post, I just reinstalled the original clustenr. Gonna run it for awhile and see if it starts to work after sheit warms up.

I have a 2002 boxter s and have a oil sensor fault readout. It does not blink just reads " Oil sensor fault" .I have changed the sensor and have checked the wiring. Thinking the new sensor was faulty I changed it again. Still have same fault. Its not blinking as other threads have had or as the manual shows. Any thoughts. By the way this is the oil level sensor fault.
