  1. Not yet checked. I do start to think that it might be the fuel system. It seems that there has been some residue in the fuel tank. I put some BP Ultimate unleaded 98 in the car and it already runs better than before. I will put some fuel cleaner in the tank and hope that it will solve the issue.
  2. Thanks for your welcome and response! Mounts seem to be ok.
  3. I am new on this forum as I have recently purchased a 996 Targa from 2002. However, since a couple of weeks I have a vibration in the car that present itself in the range from around 1500 - 1900 rpm. Under or over this range the engine seems smooth. The car had an oil change about 8 weeks ago. I have done some research and been to specialist but am not sure on his advice. He recommended to change the spark plugs, clean the fuel system with fuel cleaner, flush the engine with oil flush and clean the throttle valve. Of course I have also considered the flywheel and the exhaust but am not sure where to begin without spending a lot of time and money. I hope somebody can give me some advice.
