  1. According to my information sources, there is an emergency release cable located under the wheel liner of the left front wheel. Jack it up, remove wheel and liner, and it should be braided steel cable with a loop in the end. Give it a pull. I have never attempted this. Good luck!
  2. With the help of a posting on the Pelican parts 993/964 forum by 911Nut, I got the job done but it took more than an hour. Anyone contemplating this repair should visit this posting which includes excellent photos. Thanks 911 Nut!
  3. Try Googling Tore Bergville. His websit has detailed instructions for this and other electronic repairs geared to the DIY. I have never tried any of his procedures but he sounds very knowledgeable. I would like to know if it works. Rozinante
  4. I am requesting info on how to replace the electrical portion of the ignition switch on my 1995 993. I understand the approach is by removing the lower section of the dash panel but do not know the procedure. Any detailed instructions would be appreciated. :thankyou: :thankyou:
