  1. Well, if you knew you were the first to have a GHL exhaust installed on a 987/S you shouldn't have anticipated an exhaust when you arrived; I would think they'd have to look over the car and stock exhaust to construct an aftermarket exhaust. Sorry the exhaust system didn't turn out or sound like you wanted, remember you are the first...I know my GHL exhaust on my 986S sounds fantastic. If you didn't get your stock exhaust back, I hope that can be resolved.
  2. Nick49, thanks a lot. I really appreciate your response. I will take a look and see if I find anything.
  3. Hi guys, I have searched old threads on wheel bearings and wheel bearing replacement (great input), but my question is what steps can I take to ensure, in fact, the wheel bearing is the problem before replacing?? I hear very loud road noise in the right, rear section of the car which gets louder as I go faster. Through my search I saw a post which said worn engine mounts also produce loud road noise as well; anyone experience this? If in fact it is the wheel bearing, what is the usual cost to replace? Is an engine mount replacemet costly? I will point out the car has 55k on it and I recently put 2k on with a road trip. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
  4. Thanks Perry190, I'll give a try when I get the console delete.
  5. Thanks ToolPant! As far as moving the a/c display up top, can you give me some pointers on the process to move the a/c display up top? Is it something straight forward? Any difficulties with wiring behind the a/c display that I have to be aware of? I just don't want to dismantle the upper console (actually how do you dismantle the upper console?) and not know how to actually put the a/c display in. Again, Thanks.
  6. Hi Guys, I would like to do a console delete to my 02 S, but the AC/heater controls are in the console (which will be deleted). I would like to replace the AC/heater controls where the cup holders are placed up top. Is this a hard job? Are there any DIY instructions on how to install the AC/heater controls up top? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
