  1. Hi, Does anybody have wiring diagrams for the front lighting of a 996 Gen2 (2002), 997 Gen1 and 997 Gen2. I am especially interested in the pin-outs of all the different connectors. The reason I need all three is a little contrived ... I am converting the front end of a 2002 996 to a Gen 2 997 using, as much as possible, original Porsche parts. On the electrics side, I already have 997 Xenon Headlights, 997-2 LED DRLs and 997-2 side repeaters.   2. Thanks everybody for the responses. I guess I'm just kinda surprised that it is likely to be a switch / contact issue as I would have expected the lights to flicker as the switch was on its way out or if I wiggled it around.
  3. Hi, My 2002 996 Carrera 4 Cabriolet has just developed a fault and I'm wondering if anybody else has encountered this before and what the likely faulty component is. A few days ago, I started it up, switched on the headlights and noticed that the instruments took several seconds to light up.
