  1. Thank guys, maybe take some pictures and show what I see on the screen. It also starts by saying error unknown not known or something like that.Maybe I can find someone local and try their cd for a minute and see if that clears it up. I really don't need it but it would be nice if it worked.
  2. Yes I have the manual and the proper disc installed. I actually just went out to the car to see if installing the other west coast CD would help but nothing. Inserted old disc and waited a few minutes for it to reload and same. Any idea what the train the trainer cd is for? I have read and will read more of the instruction but got stuck when it didn't show the same as the book. even when I put in add an address it would only let me load the city no street number or names, weird.
  3. Will the Dealership do the C'S Carden and coils under warranty? MY car is also a 03 and I don't know if the P.O. had any of this issues completed. That would be way kewl if they would. It now has 84k.
  4. Yes, even at 0.5 mls no streets. There has to be more detail. Now do I need to put all the disc in and run them in order for it to add the streets? I have not installed all the disc since I replace the battery and restarted the system. There is also a train the trainer disc that doesn't seem to do anything. TIA
  5. I checked the system this morning and it's says 3.0 and 3.0 version still no locale roads and I'm in downtown atlanta. Well just north in Buckhead. The cds are dated 8/04 . I even tried to reset it with the 1,4,8 buttons. It did go back and re-start.
  6. what disc do I use? Most of the ones on I see are DVD. My CS is an 03,no DVD. Is there a special cd and how do I identfy it? tia
  7. My map screen only shows main roads like interstates. No side streets what so ever. Even when I adjust or zoom in close. Most everything else seems to work, I just can't imagine that there are no streets in this systems. 03, 3.0. S Model. TIA ps I know I need to update but just wanted to see this one work.
