  1. Just got a C2 (2000, UK) but the guy I got it from wasn't really clued up about all things Porsche. When I test drove it the coolant light was flashing, and i suggested he top up the levels. I suspect he has just used water to top up. I think I need to empty the tank and refill it with the proper coolant-to-water mix. How hard and expensive is this - can I do it myself or should I get my Porsche specialist garage to do it? Any links to a DIY? Or am I worrying about nothing? Thanks James
  2. thanks - any ideas how much it might cost to rectify? Do you think it's worth filling it up to the top and seeing if it sorts itself out? James
  3. Hi Got a 2000 996 C2, and although I know it has at least half a tank of petrol in it, the gauge and the electronic reading both say it has none at all in, the petrol warning light on the gauge flashing constantly. Upon ignition, the needle does rise to the true level, but then drops straight away. Any suggestions of what is causing this, and how to fix it? Thanks
  4. Hi, I removed the cluster to replace the halogen bulbs with blue leds. I have replaced the two large ones and five small, including the mileage, speedo, and clock. It looks nice but... Having put it all back together, the inidcators don't work when I turn the stalk. I know the bulbs work as when I switch the hazards on nothing happens, until I turn the stalk either way, then the hazards work (and by this I mean the green arrow lights in the cluster, and the actual indicators themselves. Any ideas?
