  1. Lorn can you help me on this problem. Car is a 04 C4S around 4,000klms. This morning pushed in clutch turned key nothing. Pulled out key went through same procedure car fired up. Can hear clutch switch working no problem there. Could it be faulty igntion switch. Been working well all day, but if it did it once, chances are it will do it again, and the wrong time and the wrong place. Your thoughts Gene
  2. Lately I have noticed my cooling fan coming on after the car has been stopped. On a normal drive temperatures around 45, it comes on about 10 times over a period of 10 minutes. I find that unusual because it is not very hot, and it did not do it once in the last two months that I have had the car (04 C4S). I had a PSE installed at the dealer about two weeks ago, could it be that they disturbed a connection during installation. I realize the fan should come on after the car is stopped, but I find this excessive am I wrong.
  3. Loren I would like to know if the X54 exhaust tips I have on my 04 C4S,can be used on the PSE.
  4. Can anyone tell me what a PSE installed with electronics connected should cost at a US Porsche dealer. My dealer in Canada wants 3,500.00 cdn. for the job I find that high, am I right. Thanks.
  5. Are the transmission gear ratios in the 6 speed Boxster S the same as in a C4S six speed. and does anyone know the ratio of the final drive of each.
  6. Noticed on page 53 of the new Christophorus edition that Porsche shows a Short Shifter Assembly. Does anyone know of this factory shifter, and the price plus hours to install on a 04C4S. Like the idea it comes from Porsche and not aftermarket.
  7. I just picked up my 04 C4S and have about 300 klm so far. I've been thinking about installing a PSE. Over the last year you have received many different requests on different instalations. Porsche dealer says they install PSE the way the factory sets it up. From what I have been reading the factory system closes between 30-45 klms, and then reopens, and is always one, is this so. I would like to be able at any time to open or close system when I want to, and at any speed. What is your opinon on the diffrent settings.
