  1. Hello to Belgium!

Thank you for this advice. Where can i find the heater core?

By the way, i remember there was some kind of valve:

"there is a valve, that separates the air outlet that goes into your glovebox, which is always cold during winter, and uses the cooled air when the air temp outside is warm. That valve can be a faulty valve in your case, which causes the cold air to be released into the cabin"

  2. Hi all!

Because Transmission Problems with a Cayenne is a common subject, i would like to Share my experience. I dont know if Flushing Transmissions is a well known process overseas, i will write some words about this here. When i was going to change my Fluid, the service Guy asked me why i just change the oil. He explain to me what does it mean to Flush a transmission.

Because i had the same Problems like many orhers here, hard shifting, Crazy up and down shifting during hard drive, i decided to try the Flushing . What i can say, the Vehikel run very smooth now..

Here is s link which is showing the Process in Youtube:

  3. how do you do it with the durametric ?

and EKSTOEMTJ did you fix this issue with 220 degrees ??

    hi again,

for now i believe the main reason for the high temp was a air bubble in the cooling system.  i had to refill arround 0,60 liter of coolant. since that time the temp stay arround 80 degree celsius in the middle of the gauge. if its going a bit further, fan is kicking in with high speed.

Not yet. Before i go back to my Local Porsche Service i wanted to see if i could find out something by myself.

I phoned the mechanic and asked if they made a Test when they replaced the new fan. He told me they did.

Saturday water temp was really high and SURPRISE, fan running on Stage 2. but i was expecting that fan will continue to run fast even when i park the car. They didnt.

I never had a loss of coolant when i checkend the CET in the past. This saturday the cooling Level Warning light came up.

Dont know what to think about this story again. Air in the System - maybe

Warterpump- cant see any coolant there

    Thermostat- possible to check? How?

Coolant Tubes- are already changed for alu.

I keep you Updated whats going on

  5. Some time ago i had to replace the oil level sensor. Porsche changed for a new one but after i still had the oil level WARNING coming up every day even when oil was enough. The shop couldnt find the fault and told me must be a wiring problem in the display consol. These days i found a old Statement from Loren where he is writing about CAN Network problems which could cause strange display messages. He noted to take out fuse # 40 for a moment .

I try this today and..... My display is clear now. No strange oil level WARNING anymore. Thanks again to this great Forum .
