  1. I will need to change my passenger's side fuel pump. The other one on drivers side should be already replaced according the shop. I would like to try to do it by myself. Does anybody know if I need to open both sides of the tank or is one enough? Thank you

Second question is touching my suspension. I didn't have any noise so far. Last weekend when I changed my wheels I thought it could be a good idea to get some rubber protection/ Maintenance spray to some of the suspension parts. Very very big mistake looks like.

Since then I have a terrible annoying squeeking noise while driving. Coming from the front somewhere.  What the hell this spray did what is producing such a noise. Any idea?

  2. Such stupid mistakes from repair shops make me really angry. Same with me. My manyfold was 3 times off in the last 2 years. Starter. Breather Hose. 3. event i dont even remember.  They dont think ahead. While already there i expect checking of items down. The breather hose for shure looks not good when they open first time for the starter. Nothing. 6 month later i went in for the hoses. They could do everything in one time

  3. Take all my courage and try to fix this

by myself. Was actually easy but there are always some small things which dont work well and taking time and nervs.  Finally i changed the thermostat. I didnt take out the cooling tubes. Just lift it up on the front to change.

Unfortunately the temp problem is still there. Its just 25 degress outside but when the car stay in park for some time with engine running the gauge is showing very soon 100 degrees

  4. i always believed there must be an air pocket which is causing my high temp but many of you point me to the thermostat.

looking at the parts diagrams I can find two numbers.

What's the difference? Can somebody help please.

Is the part for the Cayenne s and the Cayenne turbo equal?

Second question, where is sitting the temperature sensor ? Can't find it.

    Thank you.

    @ Mr.Haney

Would you please share this information with me. I have random PSM failures and my Porsche shop changed already a lot of parts without any success. Thank you very much

  6. Hi . Just my experience. The ticking went from a little bit to very loud now. Depends which rpm your are driving. My S started to use oil. But still not as much

As my turbo engine. Lol. As oil consumption increase the plug in the effected cylinder gets bad because of burned oil I guess. Have to change it frequently. From time to time I have a check engine light.  Codes are pointing to a problem with O2 sensors what I believe is related with the scored cylinder too. Burning oil effecting the reading of the sensors I believe

Besides the noise and the oil consumption the engine works well. But that's not a must be. I read some scored cylinders ending up in a fatal engine failure.

I am still thinking about a overhaul

. Here in Europe we have companies doing a good job for 3500 Eur.

    Good luck
