  1. Interesting. I also have a 02 Coupe. It has been cooler the past few days in Florida (this morning was around 37F, and the windows went down 4 times!). We also had very heavy rains Thursday, and signficant flooding, which I drove in. Friday was the first day this started for me. My instinct tells me that the window control wires are pinching the shifting mechanism, or that this wire is shorting out due to age. But I could be wrong. Have you pulled the center console area apart by chance to see if this was a symptom?
  2. Did you ever find out what the solution was to your windows? By chance my car did this twice yesterday and twice today. Each time the courtesy light goes on and both windows fully open. A few of the times they went down when I was shifting. The last time the car was in 4th gear at a constant speed. Thanks
  3. I have a 2002 Carrera Coupe and sometimes when I shift - only for 2nd gear - and when the clutch is not 100% engaged - the gears mash. For all my other gears it appears I only have to depress the clutch say 75%. It also appears that if I am driving the car for over 30 min that the 2nd gear is less sensitive. I am guessing that my problem could be solved in using a shift adjuster tool. If this is the case could someone let me know how and where I can order this? I searched many sites and have not been successful. Is the shift adjuster that is discussed in a number of posts only for the B&M short shifter? Thank you
  4. I noticed on my newly purchased car (2002) that the wheel lug nuts are rusting. They do not appear to have major rusting, but most have discoloration, and have some rust. My wheels are the turbo style wheel that have a brushed aluminum finish. What have others done to modify these lug nuts? I noticed that a few have removed and repainted, there are plastic caps you can get, and there replacement lug nuts in chrome and aluminum (which seems a bit expensive). Ideally these should be a brushed aluminum nut, not the steel nuts that come with the car. Perhaps these are not factory nuts that are on my car now. Thanks
  5. Thank you very much. I have not used a clay bar before, so maybe the other options you mentioned I will try first. When you do apply Rejex are you typically using one coat?
  6. Hi, I am a new member and have purchased Rejex based on your replies. I recently waxed my 911, prior to purchasing the product. Do I have to take the wax off to get the best results? If so any suggestions? It appears that I can apply it over the wax, but I won't get the same long term results. Thanks
