  1. My convertible top stop working so I followed the "Emergency operation of the convertible top" from the owner’s manual to get it up. Then I followed the DYI "Cabrio Top Hydraulic Fluid Step by Step" from this website and found that the Hydraulic Fluid reservoir was bone dry. I added fluid and tried it again and the reservoir went dry. I did this about four times (I’m hoping that the fluid went into the hydraulic cylinders) then the reservoir level held OK. I tried lowering the top with no luck. I slept on it and in the morning reread the "Emergency operation of the convertible top" in the owner manual and found that I didn't the re-tighten Allen keyed bolt at the pump that I was told to loosen as part of the manual operation of the top . I tried it again and found that the top would go up and down but only after I manual open the convertible top compartment lid using the red Allen key tool that is behind the rear seat. Does anyone know why the compartment lid is only thing that does not work? Is there a reset that needs to be done?
