  1. Water pump pulley has some play and getting a sound from it, mechanic told me is the bearing on the water pump and I will need to replace it. Do I also need to replace the pulley or would it be fine with the new water pump?
  2. Im getting P2189..I first noticed something was wrong when my wife told me the cayenne sounded loud on the road while she was driving next to me. I got to my driveway and heard it. It was idleing up and down, sometimes holding steady over 2000 rpm. When the car has been sitting overnight, it takes about 10 minutes or so to start acting as such. I also notice that it heats up to about 3 quarters up on the temp gage. There is some noise coming from the engine, at first it sounded like something was scrapping but nothing is doing so, also sounds like a hissing/leaking sound but we have not fount any leaks. There is some grime around the oil refill cap, I took it off a couple of times and retightened it (it feels tight and sealed) but no improvement in car . Some months ago I had to replace the infamous cooling pipes after they burst, but I have driven over 5,000 miles since then. Any specific ideas what it might be?
