  1. Hi, Funny thing is, I actually live in NorCal, but I'm in LA this week and I saw these rims in LA... I've just emailed Wheel Enhancement, that was a great idea, thanks!
  2. Hi, Saw these 20-inch Center Lock Rims today on a 997.2 TTS and I'm wondering if anybody here knows if they are Porsche OEM or not, and in the latter case, who makes them? (picture attached)
  3. It's quad band GSM. It works on AT&T and T-Mobile. It's exactly the same module that comes from factory with US spec cars...
  4. Hi, Although in Europe the 997-2 Turbo S comes standard with the Telephone module (Option 666), in the US it comes standard only with the Mobile phone preparation (Option 616). That is exactly the case of my 2012 Turbo S Cabrio -- it came with option 616. However, now that I have a Samsung Galaxy S II phone, which supports SAP, I want to take advantage of the use of the car's antenna and get better reception. The European Tequipment catalog makes it very clear that one can purchase the Quad-Band Telephone Module for the 997-2 and have the dealer install it, much like one can purchase the Voice Control or the Electronic Logbook modules. Unfortunately the 2012 *US* Tequipment catalog is missing that accessory, so every dealer I've talked to says it can't be done. We all know that's BS, and, in fact, the same part number for the post-factory telephone module that is available in Europe is available here in the US. After all, you can even find it in a US 2010 Tequipment catalog. Part Number is 997 044 902 31. Apparently instructions on how to install it are in the Workshop Manual (group 9, 9155). You can actually order that part #, my concern is finding a dealer that will install it. My question to all of you is: has anyone found a dealer in the US that will actually perform this upgrade?
