    Thanks for the compliments!

Ok great, I didn't feel like having to do all the other initialization stuff, LOL

I can see you're having fun. I've had fun watching your progress and work. I'm having a similar problem to yours on a stock engine for a 99 996. You are certainly giving me inspiration to do some of the same work! Thanks for the running commentary.

I just got off the phone with PCNA. My 09 CS Cabriolet with gray ventilated seats has the stain problem. I started my discussion with my local Porsche dealer last November. All I wanted was a recommendation on how to get rid of the stains. He spoke to the Porsche area rep who agreed to replace the seat covers under warranty. The new seat covers arrived from Germany after a month's wait. Unfortunately they were black not gray. The dealer reordered them in January. Now Porsche calls to tell me that they are not covered under warranty. This is very frustrating. I was told by my service rep that the problem was in the dye that colors the leather leaking through the vent holes. This sounds like a manufacturing defect to me.

Wow. I cannot believe a company like Porsche would pull something like this. Talk about a way to alienate customers.

  3. Hi All,

My 968 radiator fan is always on as long as the ignition key is on. It shuts off when the car is shut off. This happened when a hose sprung a leak. That is all fixed, the car runs nice and cool, now. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what night be causing this - a bad sensor or something, maybe?

    Thank you for any thoughts.

    Monte
