Thanks Izzy step 3 worked. I had to spin the engine a couple of times but its worked. Put the top up and down serveral times. I apprciate all the help once again. It looked like one of the flaps had gotten stuck. If it happens again i will definatly add that oil..

SDPJR, do you have any pics of your installation.. Im curious how they go they sub in and more importantly how they get the sound into the car since i belive there is no fire call from the front trunk to the inside of the car.

HELP :) i have a 2000 c2 cab.. My top is suck in the down possition and its prob going to rain with my luck. I hear the motor working. It seems that one side of the top is completly closed and the other is about 1 inch open. I think the problem is that the rear hatch is not unlocking.

I have a 2000 C2 Cab.. Does anyone have any information on upgradeing the soundsystem. Since its a cab i have no idea were i can add a sub. As for the radio i would like to leave it stock and just add an amp to it. Is there a way or a kit to add a bigger amp and replace the one that is in the front? Can i install a Hight to low off of the cables that are in the front. Has anyone tried adding a sub in the front?

I agree in my past experinces I really havent noticed much of a change with intake exhaust and a chip. You do get a gain but its not much. It will sound faster though :) In turbo cars you get a huge gain from a chip since you can up the boost.

I have a 2000 c2 cab black on Tan Interiors. I know everyone has this problem :) were can i find some interior touch up paint. I cant belive its so hard to find i even tried the dealer. Im about to take of a panel and have it color matched in home depot or something to make my own.

Has anyone used AutoTop before? Its about 150 dollars which seems alot cheaper than the smart top. Does anyone know the pros and cons of these two products? They both seem easy enough to install. I have a 2000 c2 cab. Aside from the blue wire which you really dont need to connect I dont see any cuting of cables. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

When i lock and unlock with the key it locks the doors both of them. The switch on the console also locks and unlocks the doors fine. But the keyfob doesnt want to work. The red light lights up when i push the button but nothing happens. Also my ignition was changed recently but it was working after that for a couple of days

I dont think my lights flash either. Is there a setting for that?

I have a 2000 c2 cab 6 spd.. My remote stoped working all of a sudden I changed the battery but its still not working.. The light works when i push the button but the door locks dont open or close. Could i have disabled the alarm by mistake or something? Also unlike other alarms the lights dont flash and the car doesnt beep when you arm disarm is this a configurable option? Thanks

I have a 2000 Cab C2.. Do all these cars have brake wear sensors? The dealer told me i had to do a brake job but they seem ok to me. isnt there a light that comes on when the pads are low? Do I also have to change the rotors when i do the pads? The car has 35,000 miles. Any special tools needed Ive always done my own brakes.

If I have to change the Fly Wheel. What are the pros and Cons of going with an aluminum Fly Wheel?

Do the 19s make that much of a difference. Usually 19s are 30 series so the ride is effected but I dont think the hight changes to much since its a lower profile tire. Does it?

I will finally grip dosnt slip to much but im also stock right now. And if it slips a little less im assuming i would go a little quicker.. I noticed yours is supercharged is it a huge difference? I love the car im just use to having a little more torque the car does fine in the express way.

So i should be ok with the stock cluch running 400 HP? Im new to these cars and maybe the clutch was already a little worn when i got it but when powershifting at 7000 rmp the clutch would slip quite a bit and im running about 300 hp now. BTW the car doesnt really spin the tires a whole lot even when launched those 19s and the 295s hook up really well.

Ok its time for a new Clutch I need some advice.. I have a 2000 cab 911 C2 I need a new clutch and am looking for some advice. Im planning on going the supercharger route in about 7-8 months or so.. Given that i have to change the clutch what should i put on now so that i dont have to go though this when i put the added HP.. Also how much does it cost parts and labor to have a clutch done? Just curious so when i shop around i have an idea. Thanks.. PS How much do you guys rev the car off a light before you dump the clutch to get a good launch? I get no wheel spin at all I have Iforged 19s with 295 30 19s I think dumping the clutch at 4500 rpms contibuted to its shot life :)

I think im going to go the SC route eventually maybe next year. Its a great car but it needs a little more power.. Maybe I'll do a light shot of nos for now..

Do these cars hold up ok with NOS? Im not looking for a street Rod but i dont like to get beat either. Im happy with the car and it serves it purpose every single man should own one hehe .. It would be nice if it had a little more power though. Does the engine hold up ok with the Supercharger?

I have a 2000 Porsche 911 cab 6 speed.. Are there any proven performance packages out there that will get me at least 350 horse? My brother has a fixed up F250 Diesel and he runs right next to me he only put about 1000 dollars into the car just exhaust and boosted turbos... Granted i can take curves ect but i want a little more power. I saw some superchargers for about 10,000 dollars but will the engine hold up? My car has abourt 32,000 miles. Also i would like to spend about $3000 or less if possible. And it is a daily driver.

I have a 2000 911 Cab.. I got this code "1128" about two weeks ago and i cleared it. Unfortuanately its back any ideas on what i need to check. Is this a problem with the MAF? Any help on fixing this would be greatly appreciated thanks..

I have 19inch Iforged rims on mine. The rear tire is 285 30 19 and it fits ok. The car is lowered. Dont know if thats what you were asking..

I changed the oil filter and the presure went up some so it looks ok now.. I'll probrably change the sender anyways do you have a pic of what it looks like on the engine? Also what is the normal operating temp in 80 deg weather?

My guess would be that the oil pressure is fine but you have a bad oil sending unit which is not that uncommon. I would pick one up at the dealer and replace myself. Make sure that the electrical connections are tight on the current sending unit. It is located near the fuel rail on bank 2 (passenger side) of the engine. The only other thing it may be as it seems low only at a warm idle, is that your engine is running extremely hot on too thin an oil. You should be running a 15W50 weight oil in your 3.4 living in Miami.
