  1. I have a 2000 C2 Cab.. Does anyone have any information on upgradeing the soundsystem. Since its a cab i have no idea were i can add a sub. As for the radio i would like to leave it stock and just add an amp to it. Is there a way or a kit to add a bigger amp and replace the one that is in the front? Can i install a Hight to low off of the cables that are in the front. Has anyone tried adding a sub in the front?

  2. Has anyone used AutoTop before? Its about 150 dollars which seems alot cheaper than the smart top. Does anyone know the pros and cons of these two products? They both seem easy enough to install. I have a 2000 c2 cab. Aside from the blue wire which you really dont need to connect I dont see any cuting of cables. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  3. I have a 2000 c2 cab 6 spd.. My remote stoped working all of a sudden I changed the battery but its still not working.. The light works when i push the button but the door locks dont open or close. Could i have disabled the alarm by mistake or something? Also unlike other alarms the lights dont flash and the car doesnt beep when you arm disarm is this a configurable option? Thanks

  4. I have a 2000 Cab C2.. Do all these cars have brake wear sensors? The dealer told me i had to do a brake job but they seem ok to me. isnt there a light that comes on when the pads are low? Do I also have to change the rotors when i do the pads? The car has 35,000 miles. Any special tools needed Ive always done my own brakes.

  5. So i should be ok with the stock cluch running 400 HP? Im new to these cars and maybe the clutch was already a little worn when i got it but when powershifting at 7000 rmp the clutch would slip quite a bit and im running about 300 hp now. BTW the car doesnt really spin the tires a whole lot even when launched those 19s and the 295s hook up really well.

  6. Ok its time for a new Clutch I need some advice.. I have a 2000 cab 911 C2 I need a new clutch and am looking for some advice. Im planning on going the supercharger route in about 7-8 months or so.. Given that i have to change the clutch what should i put on now so that i dont have to go though this when i put the added HP.. Also how much does it cost parts and labor to have a clutch done? Just curious so when i shop around i have an idea. Thanks.. PS How much do you guys rev the car off a light before you dump the clutch to get a good launch? I get no wheel spin at all I have Iforged 19s with 295 30 19s I think dumping the clutch at 4500 rpms contibuted to its shot life :)

  7. I have a 2000 Porsche 911 cab 6 speed.. Are there any proven performance packages out there that will get me at least 350 horse? My brother has a fixed up F250 Diesel and he runs right next to me he only put about 1000 dollars into the car just exhaust and boosted turbos... Granted i can take curves ect but i want a little more power. I saw some superchargers for about 10,000 dollars but will the engine hold up? My car has abourt 32,000 miles. Also i would like to spend about $3000 or less if possible. And it is a daily driver.

  8. I changed the oil filter and the presure went up some so it looks ok now.. I'll probrably change the sender anyways do you have a pic of what it looks like on the engine? Also what is the normal operating temp in 80 deg weather?

    My guess would be that the oil pressure is fine but you have a bad oil sending unit which is not that uncommon. I would pick one up at the dealer and replace myself. Make sure that the electrical connections are tight on the current sending unit. It is located near the fuel rail on bank 2 (passenger side) of the engine. The only other thing it may be as it seems low only at a warm idle, is that your engine is running extremely hot on too thin an oil. You should be running a 15W50 weight oil in your 3.4 living in Miami.
