  1. In March I picked up my first Porsche. My first weeks of ownership have been nothing short of remarkable. I made a few quick modifications to the car including oem clear side markers, fabspeed intake, and hardwired my V1. Next on the list is to do the pse muffler hack. This would seem to wrap up phase 1 nicely of modifications. But, one issue I wanted to resolve with the interior was the steering wheel. Not only did the oem steering wheel feel a little thin for me but also based on my seating position the bottom of the wheel was very close to my legs. I was looking for a steering wheel that was thicker, slightly smaller in diameter, and that was as close to oem looking as possible. I ended up picking up the new DCT Motorsports T96 sport steering wheel. Side by side comparison. After installing the airbag bracket. Installed. I am extremely pleased with DCT Motorsports T96 sport steering wheel. It has definitely exceeded my expectations. This is not a modified oem wheel, rather a purpose built aftermarket steering wheel. The fit and finish is near oem. By utilizing the oem airbag, you would have to know what you are looking at to think it did not come installed from the factory. The combination of the smaller diameter and flat bottom give me the extra space I was looking for. Thanks to Ivan at DCT Motorsports for working with me on the purchase and quick delivery.
  2. I have OCD when it comes to modifications and was not happy with the red intake that comes with most kits. I found the black intake on ebay and here it is.
  3. More pics to come and a full write up, but I can't wait to post at least 1 pic.
  4. Every time I get in to take spin, I find a reason to make it a 30 minute trip. Just a great car to drive. I installed a new steering wheel today which I will post a review on and it has transformed my driving experience. A little thicker, a little smaller and a flat bottom makes me smile even more.
  5. I am really hoping the flat bottom frees up some lap room for me. I'm not the smallest guy in the world :)
  6. I've only had the car a few weeks but this wheel is on the top of my must have mod list. I've added clear corners and a fabspeed cold air intake already and can't wait until this arrives. Full write up coming soon! Link to the product: http://dctms.com/blo...odels/#more-680
  7. I've been reading on the site for months and just picked up my first 996 last weekend. Flew to Nashville with my 9 year old son and drove back to Minneapolis. What a great trip! After months of searching I found this 2003, one owner car with 23K miles. Full documentation, perfect PPI and in impecable condition.
