  1. Just picked up my new Cayanne S and love it! One question, the driver side hand grip attached to the center column is pressing a bit into my right leg, more noticeably on longer trips since I am taller. Anyone have a simple solution for this, or is there a padding product that others have put over the grip to make its presence less noticeable? Many thanks!
  2. Can't get the car started folks. Tried putting a battery tender on, no luck. What does input code number mean? Searched the web and couldn't find a answer. Thanks!!!
  3. It looks like these are for a 993, not 996....correct?
  4. Thanks Loren. Seems that size is not recommended, but wonder if anyone is running the setup. Only looking to use them for 2-3 months a year in the winter.
  5. Front: 5x130mm bolt pattern 8.5x18 et. 52 Rear: Cup 3 5x130mm bolt pattern 10x18 et. 65 I know the front and reat ET don't match the stock specs, but would this still safely fit? Thanks,
  6. Anyone have this happen? I’m trying to remove one of the 4 bolts that holds the fan to the topside of the engine lid. It just keeps spinning? Any advice on how to get it off without damaging anything, and repair? Thanks fellows.
  7. Guys – Wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I picked up a ’01 996tt a few months back and since then I still, after 3 attempts now, can’t find anyone in western pa who can fix the alignment. First, for the vehicle to go straight the steering wheel needs to be held at the 11 o’clock position. If I let go of the wheel, seconds later I’m on the right shoulder of the road. If I hold the wheel at 12 o’clock, I’ll immediately drive directly into the right shoulder. The first shop claimed they adjusted the front toe, but couldn’t loosen the rear to adjust the toe/camber since things were ceased up. The second shop also claimed they adjusted the front toe, but couldn’t adjust the rear because their machine didn’t fit? I read a ton of posts on this already. The brakes are all in working order, new pads, and new rotors. Suspension components are also in good working order. Anyone else go through this before and realize success in the end? I can’t imagine driving long term like this as I feel its quite dangerous to constantly be pulling to the right and steering left to go straight. Advice appreciated!
  8. So do you just force the front ones out? My rears just fell out, but the fronts really seem jammed in there.
  9. Any advice on how to remove the front anti-squeal brake dampeners? I read the DIY, and the backs just popped off, but I can't get the fronts off??? Thanks.
  10. I recently changed to mobile 1 0-40 euro formula and my "ticking" noise drastically decreased. Stll there a little, but the difference was shocking.
