  1. PROBLEM SOLVED. Just to close the loop on this issue; maybe a few weeks ago, the twitching was getting pretty bad, but was able to solve it. In front of the seat cushion are a number of connectors/plugs and I just simply pushed them all in to make sure none were loose. I couldn't tell you which plug it was, but shaking/wiggling them did reproduce the problem. After pressing them all in firmly, the issue stopped. Whew...glad that it was something as simple as that. Anyways, thanks to all for your input. Cheers, Patrick
  2. Hmm...now we might be onto something. I drove the car to work this morning (not my daily driver) and moving the seat foward or backward did change the frequency of the window twitching (as I call the sporadic, quick, multiple up/down window movements), but with no predictability. I'll hopefully have an opportunity to check tonight and I'll be sure to report back what I find. Cheers.
  3. Renntech denizens, I have the symptoms of the well-documented window regulator issue on my drivers side window and thank renntech.org for all the wonderful info. I'd been meaning to pull the door panel one of these days to check it out, until something strange happened the other day. I was seated in the passenger seat (no one in drivers seat) and accidentally bumped the drivers seat with my elbow causing the window to move down 1/4 like when opening the door...it then went back up to full closed. A few more nudges on the seat were able to duplicate the symptom. I moved the seat foward about 1" and could no longer duplicate the problem by smacking the seat. But now when driving over rough surfaces, the window will sporadically move up and down 1/4" like someone is quickly lifting and releasing the door handle. I'm guessing that there is a wire under the seat that is possibly getting shorted but wondered if anyone could shed some light and share some insights. Apologies in advanced if this has been convered...I read through several pages and posts about the window regulator, but I didn't find anything that mentioned anything to do with the seat. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. Cheers, Patrick
