I've done something similar. Moving large tools and such around a tight garage can be frustrating. Glad it worked out.

Thanks... Since this car is all new to me, I have no basis of comparison.

I recently purchased a 99 C2 Cab. The original owner had a lot of mods put on, but pretty much no documentation on them.
Are these the stock Calipers in red? Possible an upgraded stock caliper. They are Brembo, but the part number is too obscured by paint to read any of it. I've even tried the paper and dragging a pencil over it like on a detective show.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I'm replacing the front end bushings and drop links on the 996 C2 cab I recently bought. I see a shroud/shield on the bottom with clips and a few nuts. Any tips on removal (preferably a DIY or FAQ) before I start hacking and chopping! lol
Thanks in advance.

I picked up a 99 C2 a month ago. It has JIC coilovers. JIC is out of business now. The rear passenger strut has leaked dry.
What replacement cartridge can I use? I'm doing both rears of course. If not what options do you recommend?
Or a shop that can still rebuild them.
Also, do I remove it from the top by unscrewing the three bolts in the top mounting plate?
Thanks!

Underbody panel removal.. the clips?

I need to remove the front under-body panel to replace my sway-bar bushings. I see these clips (see pic)
Their are two little tabs , one on each side of the clip. How to I remove these clips? I don''t want to just hog them off and break something. Any pics or video?
Thanks
Jeff
