  1. Hi, I understand that. I honestly didn´t know that the China cable would be a copy since it came with an outdated version of the program. I thought that It just was an old, but fully working, version of a outdated product. Durametric doesn´t even have that version of the cable or program anymore. Since I didn´t need all the functions that a new cable, read original cable, includes I bought this one. For me the cable was just a dumb cable not an electronic devise that had build in intelligence. Was I naive, ohh ya!!
  2. I read that if the ignition key is left in the ignition lock then the airbag hours will continue to go. Is this correct? Is it the same with the hours that are listed after Ignitions Range, does it continue to as well? If so, then this could be the reason for the difference in hours.
  3. Thank´s a lot for all the help. Can you see the airbag hours with Durametric? A lot of questions but I really got worried when I saw the results.
  4. I don´t think that the engine has been replaced. Is possible that the operating hours has been tampered with? Is it even possible? The odometer says 78000 km and the operation hours 1896. Can you see more info with the real PIWIS? If so, then I should have a Porsche Center to check the car.
  5. Thanks for the answer. What I am worried about is that the I get a lower value for the operating hours then for the Ignitions (Range 1). It differs more then a 1000 hours. As I see it some one has changed the operating hours to a lower value, and offcourse the odometer. I read that one could check the airbag operating hours as well, I´ll try that later on today.
  6. Hi, I just bought a Boxster S from 2005 and I checked the ECU info and saw that the operating hours are 1869 but when I look at the Ignitions (Range 1) it says 65535 / 2965h. Can that really be correct? I used a china piwis cable and a old Durametic, ver 3.015 I think. Hope to get some helpful answers.
