  1. Try contacting PSI motorsport in Belgium, www.psi-motorsport.com they fitted one to our 2000 gt3, best sound i ever heard.
  2. I know it wasnt a brake fade problem or boiling, as you say with a firm pedal that wouldnt be the case, i am running the Performance Friction pads for street/track use and have got them in another gt3 without any hitches, it looks like i will have to replace the abs pump and servo but its not conclusive that that was the fault.
  3. I've got a year 2000 Gt3 that had a complete brake failure on track recently. The pedal was nice and solid but nothing was happening at the wheels. Its got larger rotors on it with extra cooling and it wasnt brake fade or not enough heat in them. They were fine at the same point on the previous lap. I've had the abs system checked using the Porsche computer and the memory doesnt show any faults and there is nothing trapped down near the pedal box. Its back on the road now and the brakes seem yo be working ok but i dont want to use it properly until i know what went wrong. Any ideas?
  4. Thanks, that makes sense, i'll check it out and let you know. I found the intermittent relay, pt no. 996 615 103 00 and swapped it with the one on my year 2000 gt3. When i pulled the gt3 one, the intermittent stopped working but the screen washers still did. Both relays have the same pt. no. so i tried the gt2 relay in the gt3 and both inter and wash worked proving the relay is ok. Is there another relay i should be looking for for or is it starting to look like a stalk problem?
  5. Thanks, that makes sense, i'll check it out and let you know.
  6. The intermittent works and it doesn't have a rain sensor, all other electrics are fine its just the pump not getting any voltage. Do you know of any problems with the switch gears on the 996? As i pull the lever towards me, the wipers go into fast mode but no working pump.
  7. The screen washers on my year 2001 (uk model) gt2 have failed. I've had the screen wash pump out and found that works but that its not getting any voltage when i pull on the screen wash lever. I couldnt find a fuse specific for this item, does it not have one and does it have a relay of some sort? Any ideas folks?
