  1. That is the part indeed! many thanks for the quick help Jeff
  2. Hi Folks, Porsche can't find these part numbers for me off the microfishe! For the Porsche 996 Cabriolet there are 2 holes in the canvas top behind the rear seats for securing the hardtop. These holes have 2 plastic caps to cover them up during summer. Come winter, when the hardtop needs placing on the car, these 2 plastic caps are removed. So far so good. However, behind these holes are 2 plastic U shaped protectors for the hardtop to seat on over the canvas top. I require the part numbers for this set............ They are not visible on the microfishe, yet the car manual shows and refers to them clearly and I have seen them in the showroom on the car. The car is:- Porsche 996 Cabriolet , manufactured 12/2000, Lapis Blue, Blue softtop, savannah interior, tiptronic. many thnaks for any help folks kind regards Jeff
