  1. Ha ha you know what? I was thinking the same thing... pretty amazing sensors but **** annoying since it snows here quite a bit!!
  2. So i have had my 2005 CTT for over 4 months now and parking sensors have worked perfectly to date... over Christmas, it snowed for the first time and all of a sudden the front parking sensors started going a bit haywire whenever I come to a stop. They just start screaming at me and it will look like it's coming from the left, then right, then both... then it will stop. I checked to make sure there wasn't a build up of snow on the bumper, but nothing. The next day everything seemed fine again, and has been for the last 2 weeks, but then it snowed again quite heavy today and the same thing happened, except I got the red lights only coming on, which I understand means there is a fault? Funny thing is, once I got in my underground parking, they starting working perfectly well again. Any idea what's going on?
  3. Hey everyone, bare with me whilst I get through this and hopefull someone has some suggestions or can point me in the right direction. Since I bought my 2005 Cayenne Turbo, the PSM and ABS lights come on intermittently. They tend to go off after the car is turned off then on again. Dealer said it was the right rear wheel speed sensor but no point in replacing it until the brakes are done. A couple of days ago by battery died, which is weird because the dealer I bought it from said they had recently replaced it. I went in the mall for about 30 mins and left the key in the ignition for a passenger. The radio switched off to protect the battery after about 10 mins, yet when I came out the lights here still on and the battery dead, is this normal? The next day the PSM and ABS lights came on as well as the check engine light but they have not gone out in 2 days. Since then, I have to keep the transmission in manual shift mode as in regular Auto mode, it will not shift out of 2nd gear. On top of that, if I manual shift it up to 3rd, 4th etc... and then pop it into Auto mode it automatically shifts back to 2nd gear and won't change. Any help with this is much appreciated. Another issue that has come up in the '4 wheel drive system faulty' message and light come on intermittently as well. When it comes on, the switch to lock the diff does not work, when the light is not on, the switch works fine... is any of this stuff inter related?
  4. So I have a 2005 Cayenne Turbo and my cruise control has been acting up. The green light does come on as normal and the car will not start without depressing the brake. The cruise control will always engage but it never stays on for long before disengaging Itself. Any idea what the likely culprit is?
  5. One last thing, As the tank has been leaking slowly, I have been topping up with the pink coolant I found at Walmart (Zerex) that says on the back is is Porsche approved for Porsche cars since 2000. Is there any reason why I should use the $50/gallon Porsche approved stuff over the stuff at Walmart?
  6. Sorry to hijack this thread folks, but I have been really trying to find a DIY to replace my leaky coolant expansion tank on my 05 Cayenne Turbo but I can`t find it anywhere... is this something that is not for the faint of heart or is it pretty straight forward... any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
