  1. i checked the brake and reverse light fuses, which per the diagram is row A fuse 6 and 7, both are intact. Is there something that just would feed the Right brake light but not the left and 3rd?
  2. thanks Loren I see no damage, and the contacts looked fine, i cleaned them anyway, but while the reversing light message on the dash is gone, the brake light message remains, and when i hit the pedal, the left and 3rd brake light go on, but the right remains off. One thing i did notice is where the wiring harness plugs into the taillight assembly, the left has 6 wires, the right only 5. This can't be anything new though, the lights were fine until last week.
  3. Can anyone tell me what (and how to) check next? I had 60k service in mid september, followed by (minor) body work to the right rear quarter panel. Everything was fine for a few weeks and then last week the "check right brake light" warning came on. I got a new bulb, which did not work AND then in addition to check brake warning it also displayed "check reversing light". I moved the original"bad" brake bulb to the left, and the left to the right--the left worked and the right was still out, so it is not the bulb. could the body shop have disconnected wiring and re-connected something wrong that would take a few weeks to cause this??? both the left and rear brake lights are stamped 1057. PEP boys did not have that model, but they pointed me to a P21 bulb--anyway, the left works, and the right 1057 is not bad since it works fine in the left side. Not sure what to try next. Thanks for input/guidance
