  1. Hi , As per German parts manual from 01.08.2016, part numbers , all M96 01-04 engines : 996 107 127 53 Spring 996 107 125 51 Piston Regards,
  2. Hi JFP , Thank you very much forwarm wellcome through your answer . Please , waht you mean by part marked blue : "so if you disconnect the vacuum lines at the exhaust and plug them" Does that mean to close them with some kind of plug ? Thnak you again . KoljaRenn Yes, most people use a cut down screw or small bolt to block the vacuum lines at the valves on the exhaust. Vacuum is used to operate the PSE contol valves, so if you remove the exhaust and replace it with a non PSE system, simply plugging the vacuum lines will result in the car not knowing that the system is not there and will operate normally. If the lines were not plugged, you would have an intake vacuum leak which would cause problems and force the car to start throwing trouble codes due to intake mixture lean conditions due to the vacuum leak. Plug the lines and you will be fine, it is that simple. Thank you very much . own you frankonian beer , but you need to come and choose your preffered one out of many very nice ones . Regrads, KoljaRenn

  4. HI all, My first post here , beeing hiden reader for long time .. :) Im about to change my original PSE on 996 2003 Carrera to non PSE mufflers. Several reasons , first , original ones are done , open on the bottom edges , cost of new ones in Germany are "insane" and noise PSE is making .. So bought EISENMANN Sport Mufflers without valves , Now , questioon is not about how to remove mufflers , lots of articles around , good ones for sure but i could not find article explaining what you should do with original wiring and vacum lines if you instal normal mufflers withut vacum valve ... Im bit worried with electric part , do I need to change relay , reprogram DME , Also what to do with vacum lines. On the other hand, would like to keep original setup of wires and lines, for the future potentialy, kids are growing fast . So preffered option is minimal whats needed .. I Have parts manual for EU cars also WManual for cars till 2001 I think, but could not find any detail related to PSE vacum and wiring .. maybe searching wrong page .. :( Thank`s for support .. KoljaRenn
