  1. Unfortunately the white plastic bit I have is different - it has a PCB on it and is subtly different to the one shown, with no obvious marks on mine to show where the bits go. Thanks for the pointer.
  2. Does anyone have any idea of the placement of the two small copper/brass coloured pieces between/near the white plastic frame and the screen itself ? And the SIM tray is no longer available as a separate part except to Porsche, but there are DIY repairs using paperclips melted through the plastic, which is apparently stronger.
  3. That's great - thanks. I couldn't find it in the 986 catalogue, only the 996 one. So much for technology !
  4. I've got a new (to me) Boxster where the centre console check / rebound strap is missing. I can't find any reference to it in the PET (PDF version). Look at the picture here - http://www.renntech.org/forums/uploads/post-4600-1124639621_thumb.jpg - it's the fabric strap sticking up. Any ideas ? If not, looks like I'm destined to crawl around scrap yards . . .
