Your dealer can program the horn to beep and a couple other options. It's covered in the owner's manual.

You really need to get a diagnostic check done with a PST2, PIWIS, or Durametric and see what fault codes come up.
Maybe it is an alarm condition, and someone in the past has disconnected the alam horn, so you are only getting the marker lights flashing. If you leave the centre console compartment open and lock the car, do you get a single beep from the alarm horn?
I don't get the horn beep, and it looks to be connected. I'm going to bring it in and see what they come up with. Thanks!

I have the same issue, what did you guys find? I have a durametric.
