  1. This transmission leak can be fixed very sucessfully. Good results and aftermarket warranty companies have been easy to work with on this. Beats the price of a new tranny or using someone else's used one.
  2. As a shop, I have had pretty good luck with Easycare. Total Protestion Plan is another decent one funded by Fidelity. No warranty company is going to cover everything, and usually the highest plan they have is the only logial one to purchase. These companies are really designed to help out your costs, not cover them completely. The hype that is used to sell them is not necessarily what is written in the pages of the policy. Good Luck PS That cost seems high even for the top of the line plan.
