That's why I asked actually. Normally after fitting the Webco kit, do the codes HAVE to be reset, or should it just start working normally again assuming that the fix was successful?

It's a 2004 4.5 S. They checked for obvious leaks, but could not visually see anything. Note that the suspension warning beep and display warning happens IMMEDIATELY as you start the car. Not a few seconds after starting as some people report. They also changed the front discs and pads. Not sure if the sensor wires are nearby?

Hi guys Having a bit of a nightmare. I've had the car since May. It went it for a service and to get a few niggly little bits done (door locks etc). Bit of a head scratcher for the garage, and was with them almost two months. Picked it up and Suspension fault warning. Assumed the battery was low. Drove home, recharged battery, and it still came up. Tried moving the suspension and Compressor Charging warning - whcih I'd NEVER seen before even with a low battery. So, they fitted the Wabco compressor repair kit. But it's showing the same fault. Does the fault need to be cleared?? Or is it likely the fault lays elsewhere?

On the same subject. On my passenger mirror I can see a wire (with female spade connector) just poking out from the side of the glass which is obviously not connected to anything. I assume it's for the heated element, and I want to pop it back on. Is the glass easily removed to get access to the rear? I'm a bit worried about breaking the glass.

Hi Guys On my 4.5 S Cayenne when using the elctric mirror switch if you select passenger side it works a-ok, but if you choose drivers side that also works ok - but adjusts BOTH mirrors at the time time (very annoying!!) Anyone come across this issue before??

Hi guys I have a late 2003 4.5 S Cayenne. Basically, when you unlock the car using the remote the drivers door never unlocks. Lock it and unlock it again and the drivers door will unlock every time. Any ideas what;s happening there??

Hi Guys I saw the (great) DIY write up on this forum about the diff oil change - http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic/44107-2003-2006-cayenne-repair-manuals/ I'm going do have a crack at this myself (seems simple enough). HOWEVER, it that guide the chap uses Mobil 1 75w/90 gear oil. Now, in the UK it seems to be a bit different?? I ordered Mobil 1 75w/90 gear oil (called Mobilube 1 SHC in the UK it seems - the only 75w/90 gear oil available by Mobil 1 here) - and have now confused the hell out of myself by reading the label - and need help to confirm this oil is right for the job. On the rear of the packet it says: "Fully sythentic supreme performance gear oil - for use in commecial vehicle and passenger car manual transmissions, transfer cases and drive axles operating under a very wide range of tempurature conditions and requiring either API GL-5 or GL-4 performance." Is this ok for the diffs? it does not mention diffs in the description at all, but there again gear oil probably wouldn't?
