  1. The mechanics are having problems isolating this issue. I wonder if anyone knows how to solve this problem? Start car - no problems Put it into reverse - no problems Put it into drive - receive error message "Drive Selector not Engaged" Car drives fine After around ten minutes, the message disappears Apparently, there are no error codes showing when the mechanics view the diagnostics. They said they don't know what's causing the problem, but suggest they could replace the selector, but can't confirm that would solve the problem. Boxster S 2004 Tiptronic
