  1. Any seat recommendations to replace the stock seats in my 2005 987 Boxster? I've tried the 911 seats and they seem to be much more comfortable but I don't know if they would work. I have heated seats and would want to keep that. Thanks
  2. It looks like my locking system fuse blew out but before I start pulling fuses out looking for the right one I was hoping someone had a map.
  3. No light at all, I;m taking the car in for some service. I'm going to have them change the lock as you suggested
  4. I have a 2005 987, yesterday I got in my car and after starting the engine I tried to lock the doors using the dash button. It would't lock. then we I got to my destination and tried to set my alarm and lock the doors it wouldn't work. I thought it might be my battery getting low and put it on the charger. Any ideas?
  5. I have an Eclipse nav unit in my 05 987. One issue is there is no Vehical Speed Sensor connection in the car. Since it's all upgraded wireing kit the traditional VSS connections will not work. There is a VSS kit you can buy from Alpine as a work around.
  6. Well I found an answer. Alpine makes a Vehical Speed Sensor that can be mounted on a wheel and plugged into the reciever. Part number alpnvek300. I'm trying to get a quote on the part and cost of installation.
  7. I'm sorry, I didn't realise it was a 987, but his username would have given me a clue, hey? Any ideas? Would the dealership have an option? Or is this a lost cause?
  8. I have an aftermarket Sat/Nav, the Eclipse AVN 5435, in my 2005 Boxster. According to the dealer it needs to plug into my variable speed sensor or VSS. Problem is no one seems to know where the plug is. :help:
