    ill be visiting the US by may (first time) and have read in rennlist that litronics can be had for a little over 1000 dlrs. i plan to buy them online and other goodies (rejex, lloyd mats ) for my ROW 99 C4. can u pls tell me where/which/who i can get them from? :help: thanks.

    just curious to this post, am i getting the notion that replacing the oe radio on my 99 C4 coupe to say an aftermarket unit will give me headaches? ur replies wil be appreciated.

    here in manila honking is a way of life. i asked a nearby auto electronic tech, he said the problem is my stereo and that the noise filter is at fault. may i also add that honking mu horn requires a firm push on the 4 corners of the horn pad, which is very inconvenient when you have to blast the idiot driving the bus who wants to cut you off to pick up passengers and take his time when he does. is there a way to reduce the amount of pressure i have to honk my horns given i have a new horn pad retainer installed. thanks again.

    i recently had the horn pad retainer replaced as it was difficult to honk the horns. Now i get an irritating static that seems to emenate from the dash speakers (with the radio on) everytime i press the horn buttons. is there something grounded or was the horn pad retainer not proprly installed? thanks again for ur responses.

    when i replaced my brake light bulbs on the left hand side, i noticed a cable that runs from the engine lid latch to a small slot where the entire rear light assebly is fitted. it is not the release cable conected to the release lever. but it does open the engine lid. does anybody knows what its for? i thought it was an alternative way to open the engine lid, but u have to remove (and open the lid in the first place to access it). ur responses to my curiousity will be appreciated.

    before washing his 99 C4, my dad placed a small platic bag on the engine intake duct to supposedly prevent water from entering the engine when he washes the car. he showed me later a handful of water from the plastic bag. makes me wonder if there is any wisdom to this. sorry if this sounds stupid but i get to drive it his pleasure is keeping it clean and shiny to stare at. :D

    hello, coming home from a recent fun run with other porsches, my 99 C4 tiptronc did not want to accelerate beyond 2000rpm and made poping noises when i stepped on the gas. i parked and waited for 5 mins and tried to restart. it did not. after 10mins i tried again and the car ran fine. i drove it moderately hard on the winding roads during the run. did my car go into limp mode? no check engine lit up during run, what gives? any ideas?

    hello, ive been eyeing a 99C4 coupe with only 13,000kms on it. what consequences does the RMS have on a tiptronic tranny? :(
